Important oils property made – steam distillation of geranium oil
Kitchen chemistry from Jason - Steam distillation utilised to isolate crucial oils from geranium. You can come across the parts to do this on eBay. The vital oil can be used as a natural mosquito repellant. Other oils from different herbs can be extracted in this way, such as lavender, basil, sage, and so on. Crucial oil was made from residence-grown plants and is completely natural. Beneficial for aromatherapy and other alternate medicines. Hope that you have as a lot fun as I did making mine! Open to hear suggestions for improvements. Jason

I just tried the same set-up with dried lavender from the Farmer’s market. I got 11cc of pure oil from about 3/4 pound of dried lavender (did it in two batches).

I use a large crochet hook to get the plant matter out and it seems like it would work in yours also.
